Our team at Freedom Allergy consists of compassionate and highly trained individuals that support Dr. Agrawal and strive to make your office visit comfortable and stress-free.
When you walk into our office, you will be greeted and checked in by Lauren and Julie.
Lauren is a LPN, with a 4-year nursing background in geriatrics, and has a passion for helping others. She worked with Dr. Agrawal in 2014, and has returned to work temporarily while her husband trains for a new job in the USAF. She also likes to hang out with her puppy, Phoebe!
Julie is a RN recently re-located from Australia, where she loved working in a general pediatric ward for the past 5 years. She worked with newborns to adolescents experiencing acute respiratory illness, and a wide variety of medical conditions, such as diabetes. She also has experience in pre and post-surgery recovery. Julie gives immunology injections, and has a passion for helping children feel better. Moving to be closer to family, she enjoys life in the South. She has been training with Dr. Agrawal in oral immunotherapy and Julie can help you with billing, check-out and appointment scheduling, as well as your immigration exam appointment needs.
Once you are checked in, you will also be seen by Danielle, our certified allergy specialist, who has over 25 years in the field of nursing. She has trained extensively with Dr. Agrawal in the field of allergy, asthma, and immunology, and she also has a background in ENT and pediatrics. Danielle is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care – she performs allergy testing, assists with oral food challenges, provides immunology injections, and counsels patients new to the allergy and asthma world. In her free time, Danielle enjoys coaching her daughter’s softball team, traveling, and spending time with her two children.
You will also meet our medical assistant Heidi, who is wonderful with children. Heidi grew up in Colorado, but has lived in several states from coast to coast. She got her bachelor of arts in liberal studies and elementary education in California, and her medical assistant diploma in Colorado. She has worked in education and medicine, and loves working with all ages, but especially kids. She worked for a family practice for 5 years in Colorado, and is happy to get back into medicine as a medical assistant after several years working as a teacher, nanny and tutor. Heidi is happy to be living in Georgia, closer to friends and family, and to get a chance to explore the beautiful forests and trails of Georgia.
Jill is another addition to our medical staff – she fills in as needed in the clinic when the schedule is busy or when someone needs to be absent. You may see her at the front desk or in the back helping with patients. Jill is a recent transplant from Texas where she worked as the shot room nurse in an allergy clinic in the Dallas area.
Lastly, you may be able to meet Savannah, who helps at our office when she is available. She is able to assist Danielle, Heidi, Julie, Lauren, and Jill in all their clinic responsibilities. She has been trained in critical emergency care, is state-certified in phlebotomy, and is currently obtaining her Associates Degree in Nursing Science. Savannah enjoys kayaking, working on her art, and spending time with her family projects.
We all support Dr. Agrawal in providing the best care possible to our patients. We understand that having allergies and asthma can be difficult, and the team at Freedom Allergy hopes to assist you in all that you and your family may need.
